If you had invested $1,000 in Enron one year ago, you would now have $3.29.

If you had invested $1,000 in WorldCom one year ago, you would now have $10.20.

If you had invested $1,000 in Youth Continuum one year ago, you would have provided a winter’s worth of heat for four disadvantaged young people who are working, going to school and building their futures.

Kindness is the only sure thing. Invest wisely.

The prospects for kids caught up in crime are usually bleak.

But more than 90 percent of the teens in our PRODIGY juvenile justice program stay in school and out of trouble after their release. Youth Continuum serves 2,000 Connecticut youth in crisis every year. In each one of them, we find a reason to hope.
