Conclusion

At the Rudd Center, our work is part of the solution. Instead of just reacting to the news, we make the news with positive strides to prevent and combat obesity. From understanding how consumers use calorie-labeled menus to examining the effects of price elasticity on buying decisions, we take a multifaceted approach to addressing the obesity epidemic. In the face of challenging odds, we are working tirelessly to change our environment for the sake of public health. And, in the words of Napoleon Hill, “victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop fighting.”
